As the result of a goldsmith tradition that started in 1885, the name of Carrera is connected to prestigious jewelry creation in Maria Cristina de Habsvurgo Court. This crafted goldsmith tradition that occupied some workshops in old Madrid, will last for decades among some of the same family members.

Two of the saga members decided to start together an innovative, original and somehow bold jewelry brand that made its particular symbol by repeating the same name: Carrera y Carrera. Soon the important orders came and with them also came the ambition of international success, taking advantage of the strength and energy of New Spanish social, economic and cultural changes. Indeed new Spanish lifestyle was the true starting revolution.
